makeover shmakeover – #32

Today I had a makeover…

No filters on my camera.
No editing … well I cropped both pics to make the collage.
No make up, no wardrobe changes, no fancy underwear that sucks things in and smooths things out.
This first pic is just a straight up picture … whatever.
The second picture I opened my window let in the natural light and turned toward the sun.
I happen to be a Christ follower so that has double entendre for me.
 I am focused and peaceful when I keep turned toward The Son.
I took a deep breath, a step back, straightened my shoulders, lifted my chin and smiled.
Oh I also pulled up my jeans.  
Muffin tops are not naturally occurring people, its the effing jeans that are to blame.

A deep breath to focus.
A step back for perspective.
Straight and strong shoulders to carry the “load”.
A chin held high, both classy and sassy.
And a smile…its just easier, it really is.
