I love photography. It can speak for me. Taking pictures allows me to communicate where words and proper punctuation fail me. It captures something I want to save and treasure. Perhaps I was able to see something others were not...magical. I am a mother of two strange and wonderful children, guardian of a ridiculous cat, a small tribe of squirrels and a posse of possums. I love anything unique and creative, a firm believer that art exists to comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable. I love to make anything, sewing, painting, home renos, art journaling and of course photography. I am thankful for my blogs as an outlet and I am truly pleased that you have taken the time to read a little bit about me, I hope one or two of my pictures makes you smile.

I was all resolved to cut down on my Diet Coke intake, but then we moved into a house with a fridge that makes its own ice. Project Reduce Diet Coke Intake has thus far been a resounding failure.
yes yes the nice ice leads to more soda, soda leads to chips chips leads to dip and so on. My jeans have shrunk. Is my dryer or the ice machine to blame?
